How New Members Are Brought Into the Lions Club... New Member Objectives: We would like as new Lions, those men and women who will make a measurable contribution to our Club and the community, and who are interested in joining our organization. Procedure for Acquiring New Members: 1. All prospective new members must be sponsored by an active member in good standing of this Club. This may be done at any time during the year.
2. Names of prospective members are to be submitted to the Chairman of the Membership Committee, with a completed "Proposal for Membership" form, which may be secured from any member of the Club listed in the directory in this yearbook.
3. The Membership Committee, after visiting with the prospective member, will then submit the name of the prospective member to the Board of Directors for their review and approval.
4. The Board of Directors will, upon favorable action, instruct the Membership Committee to invite the prospective member to join the Club, complete the "Invitation of Membership" form, and collect the current amount of dues.
