Our Club

The PROSPECT HEIGHTS LIONS CLUB…

· Has provided over $60,000 in scholarships to hearing impaired students from John Hersey High School

· Provided countless eye exams and eye glasses for less fortunate children in Prospect Heights.

· Sponsors hearing and sight impaired youth to attend Camp Lions each summer

· Sponsors less fortunate local youth to attend summer camp programs at Prospect Heights Park District.

· Provides Holiday meals and gifts for needy families in Wheeling Township

· Built and staffed the original swimming pool on the site of today's Lions Park Pool.

· Helped raise funds for a Thermal Camera for the Prospect Heights Fire Protection District

· Helped raise funds for a Fire Rescue Boat for the Prospect Heights Fire Protection District

· Donated to the Prospect Heights Park District for improvements to there recreation center accessible front walk .

· Helped raise funds for a Bulletproof Shield for the Prospect Heights Police Department

· Donated and Dedicated a Blue Star Memorial to honor our veterans in conjunction with the Prospect Heights Garden Club.

· Sponsored and Participated in the Prospect Heights 4th of July Parade.

· Contributes to Lions of Illinois and Lions Clubs International to assist with the sight and hearing impaired fundraisers for the state, national and international programs.
